Hi, I’m Mark, a photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller who has found his muse in the ocean. Born and raised in Australia, I’ve always been drawn to the sea – its power, its tranquility, and the stories it holds beneath its waves.

My journey into photography and filmmaking began as a quest to capture the ocean in a way that hadn’t been seen before. Armed with my camera, I dove into the depths, finding stories of those who call the ocean their home, playground, or sanctuary. From the adrenaline-fueled world of surf photography to the serene and tumultuous nature of underwater landscapes, my work aims to showcase the ocean’s many faces.

But it’s not just about the big waves and the underwater adventures. At the heart of my work is a deep respect and desire to highlight the environmental challenges it faces. I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations and individuals dedicated to ocean conservation, including collaborations that have taken me to the far corners of the globe.

But, having said all of this, my family is everything. They are my anchor and inspiration, reminding me of the importance of capturing and cherishing life’s fleeting moments. My family has been an incredible support, joining me on adventures and sharing in the joy of discovery and creativity.

Professionally, I’ve had the honour of working with names like David Attenborough, National Geographic, and Tourism Australia, among others. These collaborations have not only challenged me but have also allowed me to contribute to stories that matter. From the majestic Great White Shark documentaries to showing Porter Protection initiatives in Nepal for World Expeditions, each assignment has included personal growth and discovery.

As a filmmaker, I bring the same level of authenticity and emotion to my films as I do to my photography. Whether it’s a documentary or a short film, my goal is to find people who live a life that resonates, inspires, and, most importantly, tells a story that needs to be heard.

So, welcome to my world – a place where art meets adventure, and where every photograph and film is a love letter to the ocean. I hope my work inspires you to see the beauty of our planet in a new light and to join me in the ongoing effort to protect and celebrate the incredible people and world we live in.
